Shafaq News / Western media pn Saturday revealed that an Iranian official had been infected with the deadly Corona virus, hours after the Iranian authorities announced the spread of the virus throughout the country.

Reuters news agency, quoting Iranian television said that an Iranian official had been infected with the new Corona virus, bringing the number of infected people to 19 Iranian citizens, including 4 deaths.

On Friday, Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson ,Keanu Shaghanpur said that Iran had confirmed 13 new cases of Corona virus and two deaths among the new group of cases, bringing the number of deaths to 4, and the number of infected to 18.

Shaghanpur added in a statement that the new cases include seven who were diagnosed in Qom, four in Tehran and two in Gilan.
