Shafaq News / The Israeli authorities have quarantined 282 Israelis on Sunday until next Wednesday, in fear of being infected with Corona virus.

The Israeli Ministry of Health subjected about 180 students and 10 teachers from schools in Afula and Kiryat Yam towns as well as Beersheba city to quarantine, for fear of being infected with Corona virus, according to the Palestinian (Ma'an) agency.

The Israeli Health Ministry quarantined the students and teachers until next Wednesday, after they were mixed with a South Korean tourist delegation who visited Israel recently and found that nine of them were infected with the virus.

12 Israeli soldiers from the border guards, 90 students and ten teachers who were accompanied the South Korean delegation and visited Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron were quarantined .

It is scheduled that all of these people will be quarantined for up to 14 days, the period during which symptoms of the disease appear on the infected person, although another opinion says that this period may extend to 27 days.

According to Israeli Health Ministry, no symptoms of the disease have yet been seen by any of the students, teachers, or anyone who was related to the Korean group.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli Ministry of Health announced yesterday, Saturday, the diagnosis of infection of 9 South Korean citizens with the Corona virus, who were among a group of tourists who made a tourist trip in Israel from the 8^th  to 15^th of current month.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to hold an additional consultation session on the possibility of a pandemic in Israel with the participation of ministers, hospital managers and other invitees, instead of the weekly session of the government.

In light of recent developments, the Israeli government decided to cancel the cabinet meeting scheduled for Sunday, while Netanyahu and the Israeli Minister of Health will conduct a special assessment of the case.
