Shafaq News / Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, accused on Sunday the United States of producing viruses specific to Iranian genes, while stressing Tehran's ability to cope with any crisis, including the outbreak of Corona virus.

Khamenei said in his speech on the occasion of the Prophet’s mission that, “The United States is the most insidious enemy of Iran and its leaders are impostors, oppressors and terrorists,” stressing by saying that “the Islamic Republic must become stronger in all areas, including defense.”

"I call on the Iranians to maintain population growth," he added.

Regarding the outbreak of Corona Virus, Khamenei said, "Today we face an international incident represented by Corona Virus," explaining that "the Americans has informed Iran several times that they are ready to provide assistance in combating Corona virus."

He pointed out that "America's claim to provide assistance to Iran in fighting Corona is surprising in light of the shortage and problems that America suffers in facing the virus."

Khamenei added that "America is accused of making and spreading Corona virus, and I am not aware of the validity of these accusations. It is said that America has produced viruses specific to Iranian genes."

He added that "if the accusations against America are correct, then it wants, through its offer to provide Iran, to have a closer look at the effects of the virus on Iranian patients."

Khamenei pointed out that "some countries hide their true death rates because of Corona," stressing that "Iran is able to cope with any crisis, including the outbreak of Corona virus."
