Shafaq News/ Johns Hopkins University reported today, that the number of people infected with coronavirus in the world reached about 2,898,000 people, as Countries around the world are working to “flatten the curve” of the coronavirus pandemic. Flattening the curve involves reducing the number of new COVID-19 cases from one day to the next.
The university, which is considered a reference in tracking Corona's global developments, added that the total deaths reached 202880, while more than 817,000 people were recovering from the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of infected people in the United States reached 939 thousand people, followed by the list of the five most affected countries, Spain 223.7 thousand cases), Italy (195.3 thousand), France (161.6 thousand) and Germany (156.5 thousand).
