Shafaq News/ A Turkish soldier was killed and another wounded in the Syrian border town of Tal Abyad after an attack by Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) fighters.
The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement that "the attack on Turkish soldiers who are on a reconnaissance and surveillance mission in the city that a retaliation from the Turkish side," stressing that "the attack was countered," according to the statement.
The statement added that Turkey remained committed to the truce deal despite the violations.
Turkey and Washington has agreed on Thursday to stop Ankara attack for 120 hours until the withdrawal of the Syrian Kurdish YPG from the "safe area" in northeast Syria, while YPG accuses Ankara of violating the truce several times.
