Shafaq News / Iranian Fars News reported on Tuesday that the security forces in Tajrish district, north of the capital, Tehran, have spread a wide range of their elements after news of the existence of an operation targeting security in the region, which is one of the most important areas in the capital.

The agency quoted private sources as saying that “this security deployment and the closure of Tajrish area came after news of an operation targeting security in this area, and that the security forces found explosive materials and a suspicious package inside the garbage.”

According to the agency, “The security forces cordoned off the area, closed the entrances to the area and started to investigate the presence of security threats,” adding that “more details will be mentioned later.”
