Shafaq News/ The head of Iran's highway police station announced rain and snow on roads linking 17 provinces.

Colonel Nader Rahmani told Fars news agency that most of the roads leading to the province of Qazvin (west) are witnessing snowfall near Ardabil, Qazvin, Isfahan, Lorestan, Kermanshah, Zanjan and Samnan provinces as well as Bejnord city northern Khorasan province.

He added that the snow also took place in the roads leading to "Haraz" (northeast of Tehran) , Karaj (west of Tehran) , Jalus (north) and the highlands of Tehran.

Rahmani added that rain was falling on the roads of Tehran, Al -Barz (west of the capital), Kilan, Mazandaran, Golestan (north of Iran), Khorasan Razavi (northeast) and South Khorasan (east).
