Shafaq News/ The Turkish air force has launched raids on Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) bases in northern Iraq, killing members of the party, in the latest moves of the "claw" operation launched by Ankara, Turkish media reported on Wednesday.
The Turkish reports explained that the raids resulted in the deaths of 15 PKK fighters.
There was no immediate reaction from the PKK, which Ankara classifies as a terrorist organization.
Ankara has launched weeks ago a military operation called “claw” to eliminate party bases finally in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
But it seems that the Turkish authorities' goal has not yet been achieved. The PKK fighters continue to launch attacks on Turkish military targets as attacked a Turkish military vehicle in southeast Turkey, killing two Turkish soldiers.
