Shafaq News / Statistics for "Reuters" showed that the number of deaths in the United States with Corona virus exceeded 30,800, after a record increase in the number of daily deaths for the second consecutive day reached at least 2371.

The United States recorded 2,364 deaths the day before yesterday, according to Reuters, while Johns Hopkins University, which is a reference for tracking infections and deaths caused by the emerging Corona Virus, announced that the Covid-19 epidemic had claimed the lives of 2,228 people last Tuesday, raising the total toll for deaths in America to 25,757, the total number of injuries is 638,111.

The United States recorded its first coronavirus fatality on Feb. 29. It took 38 days to reach 10,000 deaths and just nine more days to go from 10,000 fatalities to 30,000. The previous high single-day death toll was 2,364 on Tuesday.

The total number of corona infections in the world was 2,036,161, while the number of deaths reached 136,938, according to Johns Hopkins' statistics.
