Shafaq News/The United States has announced that it has reached an agreement with Turkey on declaring a ceasefire in northeastern Syria and starting work on withdrawing Kurdish forces from the combat zone.

Turkey has agreed to suspend combating in northeastern Syria, Vice President of the United States, Mike Penes said at a joint news conference with Secretary of State ,Mike Pompeo after talks with Turkish President ,Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Thursday under the framework of the "spring of peace" operation for 120 hours, to allow the withdrawal of the Kurdish "YPG" from the region.

Penes said that the United States has begun work on withdrawing Kurdish forces, noting that it is planned that the Kurdish fighters to get out of an area 20 miles deep.
